If they're still affected by the island's curse, it'd only put things off for a generation anyway. Best to either solve the root cause (the curse) or leave the island.And if all of the kids born on that island are his kids that's going to lead to a lot of inbreeding and that's not good.
Inbreeding actually takes multiple generations before it starts adversely effecting the gene pool. And considering the diversity of actual races on the island, the chances are slim to none for the next 10. And that is only if they share the same genetic fragility that we humans of earth have.And if all of the kids born on that island are his kids that's going to lead to a lot of inbreeding and that's not good.
Get your mind out of the gutter - everyone knows that it's traditional to shake the vessel rhythmically towards your face until the water splashes out. Especially if the water was given to you by someone else, it's considered polite to show the giver the water pooled on your tongue before swallowing so they can see you're enjoying it.
