@jaive i study neuroscience and psychology for a living (science weeb i guess) and a lot of my work revolves around the subtle social cues (like a certain level of these tropes being present in such a large volume of content) given to us throughout our lives. yes this is porn, yes most adults know that. but there are still some very young people stumbling across this or reading manga like this with these tropes everywhere. when i was like 13 or 14 i would see manga like these all over the sites and thought this is more ‘normal’ than it really was if they were so popular.

in a perfect world content like this would only be in the hands of those mature enough to handle it, but that isnt certain. i dont think an obligatory reminder comment would really hurt.
