The tension is real, and the gadgets mc gets are for show, it doesn't mean he won't get in trouble.
The suggestive tag, well... is not enough to degrade the tension and the intrigue, so it's ok in that regard.

I'm liking the story, but the censorship is pretty rough. Like in some panels almost the entire screen is black with just heads and necks showing... and the woman is fully dressed.

Author craved violence huh, and he went for it all the way !

Edit 2 : Author f*cked up, the novel went from an 8 to a 1 very quickly for me. I feel like if they stopped after mc finally bagged the female detective, it would have been very good. Whatever came next shouldn't have come or should have been thought up more that this.

Let's see how it's executed in the manhua, maybe I'll manage to enjoy it somehow ? Who knows.
I have my doubts though.
