Reminds me of when my cat was younger he brought home praying mantises every so often, no idea where he got them and one time a very large live rabbit he somehow managed to catch and drag home in his mouth, the rabbit was pretty close to his own size, the moment he tried to put it down though it sprang up bit his paw really deep then fled. My cat did heal but it took awhile due to how deep the injury was.
