If there are thorns, just wrap the entire handle with cloth until the thorns no longer poke out. Or run the brush's handle against the corner of the table to snap em off. Personally, I'd sand down the thorns to nice bumps that are relaxing to gripping for long periods of time, as I tend to grip too hard when I overfocus.

Someone in previous comments said she's in the mirror and I think that's exactly it. No windows, no doors, all the waviness, and the final panel shows the mirror all by itself.

@Darthskippy I'm talking around the level of a carpet. When you pull up a carpet, you find it is secured by nails that point upwards, yet they do not stab through the people stepping on them. Same idea. She can rip off a sleeve or a less liked article of clothing. Stockings would do well.
