I'm enjoying this series so far, but kind of disappointed with the stupid cliche bit of the villain revealing their motives or plans when there's absolutely no logical reason for doing so. Still, I'm hooked to see how Red Riding Hood will intervene.

And can we please have the punk Red Riding Hood? That's one radically hot loli look!

Nasty villain. Really likes torturing people. Built up Thumbalina's hope just to crush it right when she felt she might be able to escape. A stereotype, but one for a reason. Here's to hoping he gets his head smashed in soon.

Three things that I am not liking.
1. I don't like that we have a plotline that I hate in stories, Where some dude is masterminding a plan to achieve or steal X. It tends to be obnoxious to me and I find it obnoxious here also, At least this isn't taking more than 3 chapters to deal with it. I just hope they don't do that annoying thing where the villain escapes and continues to be a villain. I just want them to kill him then have the girl become another beast to the MC or something like that.

2. I think it's kind of dumb how easily it seems to be able to take a beast, In fact, I am pretty sure in the 1st chapter that it explained that there are contracts and you can't just do whatever you want if you get the book. That's why I think it's always better in stories when both parties have to form the contract.

3. Man, I hope granny regians her youth, Something I find sad is that the granny looked so nice when she was young.

It would be great of the magic system was fleshed out more, but I suppose that's just not going to happen this early, despite the numerous opportunities to do so.
