@GruntZone360 I honestly can't figure out what the fuck happened, but one of my first thoughts was that she reported to someone high up about potential corruption among the generals. One possibility is that the capsule was in fact a transmitter that, upon destruction, tipped off whoever was monitoring her that she was compromised. I'm honestly stretching here quite a bit, but I don't see any other reason why there were more gunshots if it wasn't some operatives suddenly storming in and shooting the place up. After all, she was going to die from either blood loss or a shot to the head even if she hadn't eaten a suicide pill(assuming that was what it was) and she is a logical, unfeeling person to the extreme, so her killing herself out of spite(something that she should be lacking) seems out of place for her. Granted, this is only chapter two so I don't actually know her as well as I think, plus there is just too little information, so we can't really make any concrete conclusions at this point.
