Damn, pronouns are a goddamn headache in every language, huh?
only for languages that stupidly mix singular and plurals and force it to have more than 2 genders like English.
Portuguese andSpanish speakers like my self have streamlined and easy to use pronoun sistem that is versatile and easy to use

Ah yes, because stuff like CHAIRS and KEYS have gender for some reason.

Languages cannot even agree on it! Is a key masculine or feminine? Depends on the language!
well they are called languages because they are different sistem of interpretations and communication on the case of English is really old and nearly broken Trinity gender sistem (male/female/object) that was created to substitute the mono gender (all creatures and objects are male no matter what) quite different from Portuguese that is streamlined to binary sistem (masculine is the norm and feminine is the exception but both are considered gender neutral)

Listen, English is more of an outlier than a proper example. It's some sort of Celtic, conquered by Angles, Conquered by Saxons, conquered by Romans, forced to play nice with French, and then absorbing bits of every other language to suit its needs

no the exact opposite English is the perfect example as being a language that have being passed through multiple reforms over time and being forced into the entire globe to speak as either through conquests or pure arrogance there is probably no other better example than English for this type of comparison

It's worth pointing out that while 'watashi' is used only by girls/young women during school/college, in workplace it's used by both sexes/genders due to the more formal setting.
