The beginning is pretty slow to start even in the LN. I'd guess it'll take 2-3 more chapters for things to pick up. What bodes well it that the manga is following the LN fairly close (they've left out a few minor things and characters but they don't really matter).

That is also how he get the daoist-only materials, she send a bunch to him as thanks for his help.

@kami_Nana i think it was removed from Mangadex, cause i remember reading pretty far into the series.
