Ok so this is not a comic book level world where the supes are good people. It seems more like the boys comic where the supes are assholes who do whatever they want.

But it does seems people in that world are aware that they make "pets" of their fallen enemies. So I'm rooting for the cultivator to one punch man them to oblivion.

i do enjoy stories like The Boys where the superheroes aren't some holier than thou/ goody two shoes with perfect morals. if humans could get superpowers i'm sure they'd abuse it to some extent
