I'm glad and at the same time disappointed. I'm glad because even though he's already a half-step in ascending(maybe immortality?) He's a pretty cool guy I mean imagine if a guy with cultivation like that his pride and arrogance will be high as the heavens when that superman shitty copycat invited him to become his pet imagine how a usual cultivator would react to that and with high cultivation and with the age of an ancestor. @Alfredooo0s when you literally get past three chapters, it is abundantly clear that they literally just want to fight and show domination. You can say that can be defended by their culture making them assholes out of expectation, but the fact that a few of them are quite obviously getting off on trying to show off superiority internalizes it to be just as much them being the problem.

It's the first chapter and the first two heroes we see him talk to made it very clear already.
