Since forever? Mainly around the beginning when he started to protect her or attempt to protect her from the bullying jeers of their classmates (tightness bullying and eating food off the floor). You see a bit of it during that weird tournament arc, and it's more obvious during the game challenge island arc. She even neglects to take photos, and only takes creep/candid shots of him eating her food. Have you never thought that her interest in Kazama was a little weird?

I’m grateful for the “Girls-Staying-over” arc. But I somehow wish Sakura was in on it too. I always found her reactions to the gang’s shenanigans to be highly amusing.

@Istvan90623 @ivv And a dozen other encounters. He's been so casually badass around her that it'd be amazing if she wasn't head-over-heels for him. It's just where the other girls have no problem interacting with the guy they like, Funabori is the secret admirer sort. As ivv said she's been some degree of into him since he ate off the floor in the same chapter she was introduced. I feel like it was cemented in the puzzle island death-match arc where he ran around the whole island with her in a princess carry.

Yes. I love Funabori too. Do we even know her full name yet? I know it's part of a joke, but as someone that likes her, I honestly can't recall if anyone has even said it yet. Also, her head seems... larger in this chapter. In many panels, it's less like her hair is poofy like usual, and more like her forehead/scalp/cranium was accidentally made larger by an assistant.
