It's actually kinda hilarious the only girl he can't win against at all is the one most willing to indulge his base desires. Like she gave him a free pass to never working and being a free loader and goes above and beyond for him and then cries only because she thought she was bothering him. Actually yeah I'd probably deal with the crazy insane yandere ones instead. I really want to say I could just indulge in that kind of relationship, but yeah no I'd end up feeling way too guilty. It's much easier to run away from someone you KNOW is crazy and don't feel bad about ditching.

I threatened to drop on first read about here as seen above but I'm definitely dropping this now never to even reread.

Isn't that a different thing? He genuinely believed a king doesn't need to do anything much in his position as a king. Like maybe spend an hour a day to listen to and give orders to underlings but otherwise there's nothing much to do, aside from indulging in luxuries. But that would still be doing the "job" of a king properly. It was an exceedingly naive belief, but that was his personality. Besides, if you think about it, he's actually a harder worker than most. He trained and fought monsters and demons for years, apparently saving a lot of people in the process, to get his demigod powers. His talent is on a cheat level, but he still did work for it and risked his life endlessly. It makes sense he has a little bit of pride.

If he had more wits and common sense, he'd realise he already has everything it takes to live an easy life by earning enough money occasionally and then just lazing around for a good long while.
