And it must have been a real danger to her as him and his family has been punished for it. So there seem to be ways a mortal can screw with the spirits. to be fair at that time when they still haven't been cursed they are already established as a kingdom and they still have the authority over the armies.
At this point I am guessing(optimist), so feel free to ignore, but the heathen who go them cursed was probably sacrificed to pacify the noble households and the succeeding line probably worked hard to maintain their stand as royals with the help of loyalist nobles(probably those who are related to them by family).
However, At present the current prince gave up pacifying the goddess and wants to scheme his way through because he has another power backing him(demon god or some last).

My theory seems a to be stretched thin but I got nothing but that.
I just want to see the smug arrogant schemer dig up his own grave along with the royal family at this point. The only reason the hero isn't giving up this country is because his father died protecting it but if the prince wants to use that against him then our loli mc can establish a new puppet to control the country with the reason "the spirits passed judgement on the non-reflecting cursed royal families"

Sodium is a very reactive metal which is why you see sodium compounds and not metal in nature. It will most definitely react with anything it can touch, even oxygen in the air. Other than that, I've seen sodium exploding before, you need much more sodium to cause an explosion that big. And lastly, where in the world does all that sodium even come from?

... Am I the only one wondering how the prince managed to discover the existence of Rovel's daughter? Could it be connected to that caged bird that looks awfully similar to the one released by that Vankreift retainer a few chapters ago? Is that retainer a spy for the prince, or did the prince simply manage to capture the bird before it reached it's intended destination and somehow learn of the secret through it despite not having magic of his own?

@Seink Yeah but the opening chapters makes it clear that she only have control over elements, not creating and destroying matter and energy entirely. She may be able to break sodium molecules apart to get the sodium but there's no way that trace amounts would make that large of an explosion unless she tampered with the amount of light just as she messed with the air to make it louder.

Unless she's basically a large hadron collider capable of mashing atoms together to make all those sodium.

@Muklas : it's written nowhere that the curse is to be put on the ruler. What it is written is that the curse is on all the member of the royal family. So if someone who's not the royal family come into power (and doesn't mix with the royal family) they'll not be cursed.
