I didn't consider that he's dead in that two page opening; kind of implies that everyone or almost everyone involved is dead even, heroes or villains. I hope you're wrong; that could be a poetic ending but it would be sad for a kid to die like that.
Goat is such a serious overprotective guardian for Ehta and I love him for that. So reliable. At times he speaks just like a parent. Definitely reflective of Ehta's longing for parents.
