I find it curious that when they talk about the people who sacrificed themselves, they show three who did nothing but die, because apart from Mirei and the captain who was Mami's girlfriend, the rest of the people on that panel can be summarized as follows:
- The girl who was the first victim and died sucked in by the butterflies (I think her name was Ino).
- The other girl from the initial group who also did nothing and died split in two.
- Kayo Suzuki, who ended up having sex with Kamijo and was raped and impregnated by giant flies whose larvae burst her body (and they put up that panel of her death, which makes everything even more ironic).
