The art and action is good, but what bothers me about this so far is that every single character is unlikeable. It's like, all of them are just obsessed with power and nothing else. The MC wants to be the strongest and rule everyone. The best friend wants to beat the MC and be the strongest. The MC's mentor only approves of the MC because he's the only one who can be the strongest. The headmaster is pervertedly obsessed with seeing people become the strongest. The girl who was second in the grade wants to be the strongest. But like, why? I get that a lot of shounen battle mangas have characters competing and training to get stronger, but there's usually some kind of motivation for it that makes them seem more three-dimensional. Like, y'know, they want to become a hero who saves people, or they want to avenge their village that was destroyed by the bad guys, or they want to protect their loved ones, etc. If done well, it's what makes you root for the protagonist. But here, there's like, no motivations, everyone just wants to be stronk for no reason, and not just the kids at the academy, but like, everyone, even the establishment. It makes the whole setting and plot feel shallow and sort of pointless. I'm not really invested in seeing the MC succeed, because who cares if he wins or not?
