I don't quite get how Muriel is not damaged by her own explosions. If you look at how they are drawn, they are omnidirectional, like simple explosions always are. They aren't in a cone shape, directed at the opponent.

How are her clothes perfectly fine? iirc, she used an explosion on herself to dodge Reese's attack a chapter or two ago and as you said with the explosions, her being completely unscratched doesn't make sense.

Hell, all the attacks that actually hit Reese, he should be wearing rags by now.
