I found out about this series thanks to a Youtube Video, and it's sad that it only got translated this far.

It's a fun read.

Fan service is mild. Could do without the loli hag stuff.
The battles are what got me hooked. Hopeing that the next ark will have some more stuff. Maybe against real enemys this time.
Saveing Latos?

Does this get better after like chapter 10 or 11 or something? Because I don't get how it has an 8 rating. It's so generic. Rargh angry stuck-up nobles belittling the MC. He constantly wipes the floor with everyone and yet they all still look down on him and act like he has no power or talent. The secondary characters are either bland schemers or lolz fanservice or his isekai friend guy. The art's... fine.

It feels like a ton of other series that are pretty much the same ("talentless" loser goes to isekai world hogwart's and is secretly the best even though everyone is too blind and stupid to see it so that he can have constant conflict, but also girls fawn over him because he's strong and independent and whatever and also there's some kind of secret behind-the-scenes stuff going on that may be big and shadowy or may be a misdirect)

It's not nearly the worst thing I've ever read but I keep waiting for the reason that it's got decently solid rating and I don't see it. It feels like it should be in the mid-low 7s.

At first, this manga could feel like yet another generic isekai / sword & magic / academy life product made of all the most common tropes bolted together, but at least the recipe is pretty well executed.

The art is good, without excessive amounts of fan service. The plot is decent (I just finished reading chapter 22). And above all, the characters are fun. None of them seems to take themselves seriously. They act like total goofballs and this cracks me up at almost every page.

Not a masterpiece but a solid 8 (maybe a 9). This is exactly what I like to consume for mental relief during these trying times. :headpat:
