Theseus killed Asterios in Greek mythology

FGO uses real life literature. So if ya wanna learn a servants history... type their name and add "Mythology" (I think "Folklore" for Japanese servants) in it. Ya get the right answer in google XD

Can't say the same about Foreigners, Alter Egos and Beast though. DX

Of course, some people think the entire story was basically a metaphor for fighting an enemy country with a bull theme... buuuuut yeah.

Theseus and Asterios fought in the labyrinth cause he was order to by the king of Minos (think it was a quest he was forced to go on). Theseus killed him and was able to do so with the help of Ariadne’s thread. He sailed home afterwards and forgot to put up sails that marked him being alive which resulted in Theusus’s killing himself out of grief. I think Theseus dumped Ariadne on an island nation of Naxos and sailed home. This was after she betrayed her father and country when she helped Theseus out. It’s honestly pretty fucked up story ngl.

Oh and some stories have Ariadne and Dionysius getting married after Theseus did this to her. Theseus was a pretty messed up dude ngl

Yeah, the FGO version of Asterios/the Minotaur isn't, y'know, actually a capital-M Monster. If anything, that would apply to his dad king Minos for throwing a child into a labyrinth and then getting it into his own crazy head that the only way to keep the hulk there was to sacrifice children to him. Asterios never demanded the sacrifices, he was perfectly happy to stay in the Labyrinth because that was what his dad told him to do and he desperately craved his father's approval as most children do. That was all on King Minos.

Theseus didn't realize this until after he'd already killed Asterios, and it completely soured him on the whole kingship thing. "Asterios should be king, not me."

Well Greek Mythology is the most fcked up story with Zeus as the main culprit to begin with XD

I'm not gonna dwell myself too much of it... I just think of it as

"Zeus fcked all the women in the world and have his offsprings from those women fight each other, fcked themselves up and the world while they were at it." lol
