Gordy I'm pretty sure that's a felony bud...though maybe there's a legal loophole due to her being a summoned servant? She's also not human but an elemental. So does she share the same rights? Because we could probably make a case for her being a tool and thus not owed her wages!

If I recall correctly Gordy also spent pretty much his family's entire fortune when Koyan manipulated him into buying Chaldea, so... he might just plain be flat broke.
There's also the whole issue of the whole, y'know, bleached earth thing meaning there's nowhere to spend our foldin' money on (QP is a different matter, it can be turned into other useful things via Da Vinci magitech wizardry so it remains universally useful) but that is a separate issue altogether.
