Ignoring eating habbits and changes in hygienic products, it is an interesting question how much a person's inherent scent would change if they were simsalabimed into the opposite sex?

It's actually well documented as one of the most substantial changes that happens where trans people go on HRT. Your scent changes dramatically, esp. with your body producing different pheromones. Guys have a much "heavier" smell on average. But you still smell like "you" for lack of a better description. This comic is actually spot on.

(before some people get mad -- I'm just sharing this for the data. It's not as an endorsement, criticism or an attempt to start a discussion about that life choice. Just sharing a biological change that happens, I'm super happy to leave it at that.)

You'll also start to smell of medicine.
Even basic painkillers have some effect on you.

That's... Not true?
It is documented that sick people have a certain smell to them that healthy people don't, but you don't get that just because you take medicine.
People with ADHD don't smell different when they take Ritalin.
Similarly, trans women don't "smell like medicine" when they take HRT. They just smell like a woman, lol.
Same for trans men, they smell like men.

*Edited to fix typo and make my wording more inclusive.

I feel like you shouldn't have to add such disclaimers, but so things go...

Typically it's a little bit of a "lighter" scent if it's a case like this. It's not as pungent or sharp.
