They are the scouts. It's not like they can blend in with the goblins or make it more than 10 feet into the castle without being immediately spotted anyways. And then they'd lose the element of surprise and have to deal with entrenched goblins instead of startled ones.

The only issue they have with holy magic is that it normally harms them. If she has a positive opinion of a demon she can heal them just fine, just as she can the mc. Also the plan was to swap the injuries to the mc, and then have her heal him, which is a proven technique. As for her being unable to fend for herself or run away, same with the horses tied to the carriage, or their other supplies. She is a lot more useful with them, than if the left her behind.

Its more of a hostage situation for the black dragons. Since the deamons pretty much rule over the lands where the dragons lay their eggs. The dragons submit because they don't have any choice. The second deamons no longer control the nesting sites the dragons will turn on them.

Quite frankly most of the deamon "allies" would execute order 66 on their deamonic asses given the chance.
