I'm sorry but the premise of the Manga and the overall tone and story progresion just don't match. It's almost laughable if you don't realize how tragic it is. Last chapter the MC talked a big game about his unwavering hatred for all demons (not like that's racist or anything) especially those responsible for his original loved ones death as a human who are now his parents. Except in this chapter we see his mother nearly get herself killed from emotional damage of him being missing for six months. No cap if the MC ever even thinks about killing that adorable milf over a past life we (as readers) barely were ever introduced do and people we've never really met to care about, then I'm going to personally hop in the Manga magic tree house and never ending story style and beat his ass. Just saying what he's essentially complaining about is no different from humans decimate other animal populations most often not out of necessity but in excess for sport and business. I mean a very easy way to make me sympathize with the MC would be if the demon family actually acted terrible or overly cruel or something. But chapters like these bring the entire premise into question. Like at this point if the MC doesn't abandon his hatred and revenge (which keeps getting harder), I don't know how the author can get out of this mess.

It is. The stories don't have a completely evil race (except the night elves, they're sadistic arseholes).
And unfortunately, if you want to create many characters with diverse personality who interacts a lot with the MC, then they can't be single-minded evil creatures. There will be good and bad sides.

2. High Elf girl. Past life friend, spends majority of the series as a dog (mentally). I don't know how likely it is, but I'm hoping this series does end up with a happy end with at least these two girls.

3. Ante. While not necessarily a romantic relationship, she does care deeply for him.
4. Claire. Childhood friend, has the same issue as Emma as far as being undead goes, but unlike Emma (her master), Claire does not wish for the death of all living things.

Dark elf maid - Even the more likable dark elves are murderous sociopaths.
Beast girl maid - Unlike elf girl, she's literally just a pet.
Sword Saint girl - Past life friend, Just a ghost now after being killed by Jil.

Family - In some ways, he has pretty normal standards and common sense for a MC. He loves his mom, but not that way, and I'm sure when he eventually kills her it will leave him super fucked up. Glutton sister has raised a bunch of death flags lately, sleepy sister doesn't interact with people, Arsonist sister is too dangerous to keep alive.

Emma - Lich wants to replace all the living with undead. Should be the penultimate villain of the series, before the demon king. Jil might use her own undead army against her and demonkind in the end, if he were to infuse them with holy (curse) magic.

Soldier captain is more of a father figure towards Claire, in my opinion. Vampire girl is a possible pairing for that guy, but there's that whole thing where Jil promised the vampire hunters that he was going to kill all the vampires... Did you notice that soldier was the friend of one of the enslaved soldiers that were Jil's first kills? You know, the one who's wife and daughter he only recently saved?
