Totally different genre though.
However, instant death ability is op is a great example for shitty isekai fantasy manga with way too many chapters for its low quality.
Mangaka put so little effort in character development and background story, I was honestly offended how little he values the time and intelligence of his readers. Characters have no background story at all and could have been born or wished into existance at the beginning of the manga without difference. Not a single heroine passes the "sexy lamp test" and if that test was applicable for male characters, the protagonist would fail it too. And that garbage got a frickin anime adaptation too. I know bland characters are used as an vehicle for self inserting as a reader... however for that to work you need at least a character that is relatable to the reader (hobbies,lifestyle, character traits). But there exists literally nothing to even self insert into because the protagonist was napping the majority of the day in his life so far.

A shame really about is axe. This story was somewhat unique and interesting, no way however I'm gonna read the LN

The axing was already known.
Look like the japanese fans of the novel kind of hated this manga adaptation. But apparently the novel is well received, so an anime adaptation or some OVA could be done in the future.

Having read the novel, I get it now. This manga is fine, but the detail and slower pace of the novel gives the world way more depth.

Why did they hate it? The art and character design are great.
