@Upil Ah! I can't exactly remember what particular manhwa's were dropped. However, there's one called "I Want to Be You Just For a Day". That one was dropped because the official Line Webtoon decided to start translating it. They even renamed it to "Your Throne". Another one called "Give Me A Flower, And I'll Give You Me" was dropped because the scanlation group weren't finding it interesting, but was then picked up by another scanlation. Furthermore, a manhwa called "Why Are You Doing This Duke" was dropped because the offical Tapas decided to pick it up. However, the bad thing is that they changed the title, and even worse, they changed the main character's names. They even changed the nicknames--it's like a whole another story. There are loads, but the main reason why most of them have been dropped is because official sites, like Webtoon, Tapas and Naver, have picked them up.

@xKitts that's the one thing that i'm still confuse. is it because legal sites contacted the translator groups or is it depend on their rules on scanlating, but i've found a couples manhwas with the official english vers link pinned but that series are still updating until now, noted that the official vers are far behind.

in the end i really appreciate the all the scanslation teams on doing their works, really it is so smooth that sometimes i prefer their vers over the official one hahaha

@Upil Yeah, it's mainly part of the scanlation rules. And also common sense. If an official website, which is bigger than a fan-made scanlation group, decides to scanlate a series, they have a right to do that. Scanlations are basically fan-made, official sites like Line Webtoon and Tapas are like "the big guns" lol. I dunno how to explain it but that's like the areas where the original authors and artists upload their works sometimes. Idk, it really all depends. Scanlations are just fan-made translations. The authors can also contact the scanlators and notify them about everything.
