Vol 8 was the last release, in June 2017. Vol 8's synopsis suggests the story was still meant to continue. Tragically, the author passed away in a traffic accident in August 2017. JP wiki states she was struck down by a car and passed from hemorrhagic shock after.

@Hollow7F, xyzzy Dunno if anyone will pick up LN, but I think the plan is to keep adapting the remaining volumes in manga format. I recall same thing happened with the Rain manga; LN author passed away but mangaka wants to continue covering available LNs to the end.
