It probably is 'pain bag'. Cars that are done up with total otaku stuff so you should be embarrassed to be seen driving them around are called 'itasha', or 'pain cars'. So similarly, bags that are decorated in a way a normal person would cringe at are 'ita-bag' (pain bag).

I would say pins cost like 400-500 yen (might be different for underground idols), so in total it would cost like 6,400-8000 yen

But pins are usually sold as blind bags, so there's a good chance he spent more lol
