Then what are you supposed to do beside calling for more peopleAnother reminder that its very dangerous to jump in the water to try and save another person, even if you're an ok swimmer, especially if you're not. A panicking person can just as easily pull you under as well.
Usually you gotta get the on site professional and/or get a life preserver to toss in. Alternatively you could look for a long stick or pole to put in the water for them to grab onto. There's way too many tragic stories of the untrained pedestrian getting themselves killed trying to rescue someone else.Then what are you supposed to do beside calling for more people
