She's definitely cheating on him, right?
Not necessarily, girls can kind of sniff this stuff out when a guy isn't fully committed anymore. Could also be that the whole novelty of being the gf of a ballet dancer has wore off
Regarding the chapter,
I honestly grew to really like Oikawa sensei at this point. She's stern and pessimistic, but clearly has the interests of the students in mind too. Sometimes her troupe's brand takes precedence, but that is exactly what a director should be thinking about. At the end of the day, her job is to make the troupe the best it can be and the students are a vehicle for this. Giving them the option to eventually leave without locking them into the troupe is where it's still a good place to be at. She's a good manager with a clear goal. Her deep concern over the dancer's safety is where I think the author tried to emphasize it further as well.
I also like how Junpei is like fish in the water with this attention and is immediately chatting the director up. It's hard to understate how critical this skill/MO is in nearly any professional field. People who just do good work but don't network and 'put themselves out there' will inevitably lock themselves out of many opportunities and limit their growth. Tho I still suspect Junpei will do nonsense in front of the cameras, maybe not out of shyness, he seems to have left that phase now, but just due to overexcitment. Will be a little cringe but, hey, teens
Big thank you to the crew for two chapters in a row, nice Christmas gift haha. Enjoy the holidays!
