She's not exactly new. She's his schoolmate that I think have been shown in early chapters?

She’s the girl who “cheered him up“ on the rooftop way back in the early chapters (girl definitely gives school mate love interest flags)

"You should try loving me a little more" is such an amazing phrase, but also something I would absolutely never imagine a middleschooler saying. It's a funny 'flaw' with this manga in that the middleschoolers act too much like actual adults at times.

Author really has no chill with the "so much came out" and "I have emptied myself" hahaha.

Nice chapter, I've always loved these 2 characters together, can't wait to see how it'll turns out.

And I agree with Felkin, sometimes they both act their age (notably Junpei acting like the most typical middle school guy) and sometimes they act like adults.
