Toukajin (Peach Man) is a good shout actually. He literally shrinks Kagome and the team into his miniature box village too. I actually forgot about him until you mentioned it. He also got hold of the shikon "jewel" shards during this too, and it also transformed his body.

Maybe some similarities between Kagome and Momo too, now that I think about it. Both MCs sharing spotlight with their male love interest MCs, who both happen to be monster like. Mostly follow their POVs. Both have magical/spiritual abilities. Personalities aren't that different either, really. Haven't thought about it beyond that though so not a thought I've developed or anything.

I think I did try but never get into Soul Eater. By Blade you mean Blade (not Brad, damn autocorrect) of the Immortal? And Bastard!! is still on-going 😵

Original Blade of Immortal is finished, yet there is spin-off of it going on right now (I think). Original Bastard haven't had new chapter in over 10 years, yet in 2023 it got remake(?) chapter of 1st original chapter. But person above probably refered to Blade & Bastard manga.

this reminds me of chapter 114 of the manga tsugumomo : a boy and a girl enter some item , and then they are sent to an isekai world .
