What a badass chapter!!

I truly thought of the word "hero" when police officer-san dived head-in to save the little boy! Then whose turn to save both of them? Zuma!

A side note on children cruelty. I don't know if it's purely instinctive that they tease each other verbally/physically/mentally/emotionally like so. And I understand how there are different approaches depending on different families/households. I doubt that the three boys would tease the baggy boy anymore after this horrific incident (at least I hope so). Still, a genuine questions: How do we, the more experienced, communicate and let the kids know that certain things are absolutely NOT okay? What equate "not okay" and how so? Because learning the hard way is.... way too hard at times.

Why do I feel like the umbrela Yokai is NOT his younger brothers spirit?
What if it just that, a yokai, a demon. The cop drowning, the Zuma desperate, it's just the perfect scenario for a demon to show you an offer you can't recuse. Said demon taking the image of his brother too so that he's just that little bit more convincing.

Ok, I’m going to say it.
I like the fact the author is giving some of the characters a meaningful and thought out back story, but now I am scared that every new character walking in the story is going to be 103 chapters explaining the backstory of the little kid that died when a space toilet fell off the MIR space station killing her on the spot and that’s why that kid has the toilet seat powers.
This side story made me forget we were reading okarun sucked in the game to save his right testicle and his little miss

Its called "context", without it character motivations either dont make sense or end up looking shallow.

Also its only been 3 chapters background of a character that is more complex, we also getting were he got the Yokai umbrella, its taking this long just like Vamola took as long due to the character background nad motivations being more complex that others.

Besides the previous character was a lot simpler and so faster so its not everyone that introduced.

I actually like this way of story-telling. It's becoming very DanDaDan. And a good story, for me, only benefit even more with good characters and developments. I feel like there are still a lot of potentials and directions with this manga.

We can only do it by example. By showing through our actions that this behavior, nagging and teasing others, is not only unacceptable, but also absolutely prejudicial. We need to embrace our children and show them that it's perfectly possible to be truly strong by helping and serving others, not by teasing them and neglecting their education for social media

I hope many and more adults or older kids will follow such paths. It's just really depressing the world we're living in.

"there is potential" imo it's already good but it's still following a formulaic pattern with every arc going about the same way. wish Tatsu would go out on a limb and do something real with the story. He's really playing it safe, recycling the same formula every arc and not pushing the limits of what this manga can accomplish. idk I feel like there's no real threat in this manga, it's become predictable and almost cheesy to me. which is sad because I do enjoy it, but I used to fucking love it. I mean where's the progression Tatsu?? it's like you're tryna introduce new characters every arc instead of doing something meaningful with the story. It's just a montage of shit happening with no real consequences.

You say there's potential, and there is, but nothing is done with it.

I mean, sure, if that's how you feel. Just go along for the ride until you're not feeling it anymore.

(Just speaking from my personal experience. Recently I got into X-Files, really liked season 1, but could only tolerate until season 4 or 5 then I bid adieu. I mean I still watch good standalone episodes though since they are non-consequential. You do you. I tried and couldn't with Naruto and HunterXHunter, so yeah.)
