Or maybe, it has to do with genuine feeling.

Most of the time, when someone says "I Yield" to someone for knowing something, they just do it to remove the annoyance (because majority of people think of Trivia info as non-sense or annoying).

But in Takakura's case, he genuinely accepted that "yeah Germaine knew more than him", thus he didn't feel bad yielding to him.

There is 9 times more varieties of bacterias than human cells varieties in a human body. This is because even with all cell differentiation between the many humans tissues, we still don't have so many different times of cells as there are varieties of species of bacteria living in the intestinal flora and the skin, among other places.
While the "vibration of bacterias" bit is just downright false and stupid as all fuck.

Yesh, but it's the typical pseudoscience kind of "facts" that usually circulate in the internet just like urban legends. It works within Dandadan, just like all other wild myths that Okarun reads abouy. All the myths and urban legends in the story come from the real world, I bet the author found a post with that stupid theory and said "yep, this wacky nonsense goes right into my manga"

Well it's good she's gone right now or else Germaine might have taken her powers there.

I'm glad too. I just miss Granny and want her back for real. (Even more so after the incredible credit music from the anime!)

I also would like for Okarun to develop some sort of personal ability/power instead of relying solely on Granny's or any other supernatural being. I believe, he deserves so. (Would be awesome anyway.)
