I feel like the author is just trying to cram Turbo Granny's powers back into Okarun somehow. Which is the latest in a string of odd decisions. I actually really liked him losing her powers, as I thought it was a good opportunity for him to expand what he's capable of under his own power.

Maybe it's like how everyone that got a hold of his balls showed different powers, maybe Takakura awakened some other power, during all the time he was possessed, especially when he started using spiral powers to travel as electricity?

Kinda yeah. They claim it's a bug they're ironing out, but if there was a bug, why not roll the update back while it's fixed? Seems more likely the paid members-only schtick was always gonna happen. Between this and mangaplus titles sometimes not syncing for days, reddit seems like a better option nowaydays.

As for the manga, this whole thing about enemies hiding in plain sight in every arc is just becoming stale af. Why would you insist on making the story so formulaic? Apart from the Vlad reveal, everything for the last god knows how many months has been the same: go to a location -> get attacked by random animals and shit -> fight them in pairs.

This new update to the comment system is obnoxious, but I have yet to "create" a new chapter forum thread.

The fights are getting samey and we still havent seen Kinta's haircut. I think the quality hasn't objectively detoriated but after the prolonged amnesia arc and the resulting relationship reset bullshit, everyone's tolerance for the usual bs has gone down.

Yeah honestly for the longest time I've never liked how unaware the gang is. They've been attacked multiple times by now. you would think they would start being more aware of their surroundings but they never do.
