The Satou family accept her because she not only faced them as a lady, but was hugged by Sou instead of the other way around. Yuri also took on Sou's [Rejection] head-on like a pro.
Class E teases her endlessly, but respect her for her strength and for being the girl Sou calls "chan."
Diamonds are forged by immense heat, pressure, and time, and the 『Darling Addict』 and 『Female Side』 won't let her break under the pressure... Thus, the 『Main Yuri』 only has one option: Every time she would break, she must instead gain a new facet of the brilliant jewel that she will be, even if that facet is then immediately sacrificed1. 1: can we get a ♀️ in chat for 『Iron Virgin』?
Gatekeeper? Older sister... it's a bit more behind that. Yuri officially became the family's proxy in class. I would expect her to be invited over pretty soon. And, at least from an onlooker's perspective that's really what just happened here. It's not just random that Sou's guards are staring daggers at Yuri on the last panel. If you need further proof, especially Sakura made it crystal clear with her statement:
This right there is basically Sakura acknowledging Yuri as Sou's girlfriend (if not more, this makes her his fiancée). Sakura would usually not address an older girl she just met for the first time like that. She considers the guards as rivals, especially Hinata, and calls her "Natsuki-san". So for Yuri, the normal way Sakura should call her would be "Momozono-san". That's probably what she initially wanted to say. But then she makes this short pause and continues with "Onee-chan". Make no mistake here, that's exactly how Sakura addresses Sumire... and if used by her here, that's family level.
I expected as much from her, as I stated in the llast chapter's comments. Akane is, despite being infatuated with Sou as well, still a respectable and capable woman. She's a company manager and as stated, she is able to make sound decisions, especially because she loves all her children equally and thinks of their well-being first and most. It was clear how she would react when you saw the last panel of the last chapter. There was no delusion, she was thinking calmly while her daughters went berserk. The result was pretty much as I expect it to be. Though, I honestly would have loved if Akane had put some of the girls through the wringer with a few questions.
Now then, we can move on to lunch break and getting to meet Team A and/or Ruri. I actually don't think the Class Observation arc is done by this. That would be far to little. I honestly want Sumire and the Konno-twins to meet and also Suzuki coming into contact with Sou's family. Not to mention Ruri will be fuming like a wildfire when she hears of the results. Ah, and there's one more thing to happen:
we definitely need an after-party now, don't we? I guess Erika-sensei will gladly join as the homeroom teacher (kari) representing Konoe Academy, since Izumi already declined and refused to have anything to do with it.
Best part of the chapter is Mama Akane showing off just how competent she is. No need for threats or yelling, just pure strength of personality. She was even understanding of the girls, so her rebuke was gentler than it might have been, and she made sure her son got grilled a little, too. She was very gracious while accepting their apology, too.
Yuri is the one in a real pinch, since she is now set up as the Satou weathervane, guard student rival, and Ruri's target. Isn't it sad, Yuricchi?
For the record, it's only day 4 of school...
Chapter 1 is the day of the switch, caused by head injury. Amnesia cases tend to be subject to observation and testing, so Sou was there at least a week before his discharge in chapter 3. From chapters 4 to 12, it's at least two days, probably a week (most people won't go to the conbini first or second day in a new house after a hospital stay). Chapter 14 is a new day, chapter 15 is same day. Chapter 16 is at least a week after hospital discharge, probably two. Chapter 18 is probably a month after the discharge, since it's time to go donate sperm (most obligations like this have exceptions for trauma). My guess is that chapter 20 is mid-week to weekend, probably midweek. Chapter 28 is at least a month later, since his muscle training is making him buff, and that takes at least 4 to 12 weeks.
Chapter 29 reveals it is currently May 202X, so we can confirm Sou's birthday is between January and March (monthly sperm donation begins after 16th birthday, OG Sou was there once, our Sou was there once, and we take into account passage of time). Chapter 32-34 is the day after the first refusal to send Sou to school first day, we also see Sou has become much stronger. Chapter 36 is too vague, dunno how much time passed, but 39 is probably the day after 36. It's a week to process admissions paperwork, probably two.
First day of school is chapter 42. Chapter 82 is day 2 of school. School holiday in chapter 133 is interesting. Summer holidays start late July, yet Sakura's school also has a school holiday. Probably a local holiday or school founding day. Chapter 140, same day, second depicted sperm donation, which is regular enough for Sou to be well-known at this point, so at least four times, possibly more. Chapter 144 is day 3 of school. Hijinks! Day 3 ended on Chapter 257. Chapter 258-262 would have been Day 4 of school, but our boy Sou was confined. Per chapter 263, it took three more days after that for Sou to deal with his family and the school. So it is Day 8 of the school entrance arc, Day 4 of actual school. Chapter 280 confirms it is June 21, 202X.
Rough timeline:
March 202X: Sou's birthday, first sperm donation, "amnesia", comes home, recovery
April 202X: second donation, starts working out
May 202X: asks to go to school
June 202X: goes to school <---we are here, third week of June, Day 4 is June 21.
Yuri-chan had won the war before they even entered the classroom afterall. I am looking forward to the guard students reactions to the official appointment of their new superior(?).
Erika-chan-sensei almost ruined it at the end. That almost seemed like an application for the r18. Seems like all that's left for this arc is Ruri's reaction.
Far from it... I expect quite a bit more to come. Ruri's reaction is one thing, but now would be an excellent opportunity to invite Sou to the welcome party that the class wanted to do before he got grounded at home. And since his family is currently there, the class can also invite them as well, to show their best behavior. It would also be possible for Sou's family to run into Suzuki and the Class A guards on their way back, it might be time for lunch break. There's a lot that could still happen with the family in school... maybe Yuri gives them a tour as their guide. Who knows, I wouldn't write this off as done and over just yet.

School day three lasted for ~110 chapters, this one only had 34 chapters, huh? Felt much longer than it actually was due to the irregular release schedule.
I agree that it would be a good opportunity to pitch the welcoming party idea, but I am not sure anyone is brave enough to bring it up directly after the crisis has finally been averted. Well, if the whole class bombarded Yuri-chan with messages urging her to ask on behalf of the class, she might be able to use her newfound authority as the recognized daughter/sister-in-law to strongarm the Satou family.
I am once again reminded that Sumire's outfit in this arc is absolutely amazing
Yuri-chan-sama is the best, as always. Speaking of which, when did she start being called Yuri-chan-sama anyway? It's been the norm for so long I forgot when it actually started being a thing.
