I do wonder how there are two of these 1:xx gender ratio series currently running, and though one is supposed to be unhinged humor and one "serious", they both fully rely on a male protagonist who seems almost willfully blind (to varying degrees) to the fact that they're fully in a world where they can't apply their old standards of social/cultural logic.

In Sou's case....he's a high schooler and apparently a bit of an idiot already, but both of them have been told "hey, this place is bad, women are aggressive, you gotta be careful" and then they just go "NAHHH" and proceed to walk into the lion's den.

Hopefully with this one he sees actual consequences since it's the realistic dramatic version, because I just don't like having to continuously suspend my sense of internal consistency when I see him somehow manage to not get why he should be more on guard here.
