I really like Retard girl from last chapter she felt not so dangerous compared to most of the girls
Shoujo / Josei yanderes are genuine criminals. Not a single bit of comedy or exaggeration like in girl yanderes; just pure possessiveness, psychopathy and the love of fucking up your life. And it's treated like it's the most romantic thing you can pull off. Girl yanderes are a joke compared to them. It's basically the falling in love with a Serial Killer phenomenon that you see IRL.Go read a Shoujo or Josei, you'll find a million gender reversed examples of these
I'm pretty darn sure I'm not the first to tell ya,but my keyboard hasn't bashed anyone in 10 solid minutes so...If the age and role are reversed everyone would call a bloody murder here
Try actually reading some of them instead of going by what other people say.Shoujo / Josei yanderes are genuine criminals. I have read them. There's a lot of yandere shoujos / josei that are Stockholm Syndrome. There some mangas where the ML is absolutely insane but the girl isn't a pushover and can actually fight back (usually involves having past experience or is on the verge of death before meeting him). There some that is basically K-Drama with a bunch of convoluted and intertwined plot, mostly revolving around obsessed exes and their ties to the criminal underworld. A lot of them tend to either end in tragedy or the ML gets better as a person whilst still retaining their possessiveness or the FMC being freed from the prison of abuse.Try actually reading some of them instead of going by what other people say.
Wait - are you saying that there's a million gender reversed examples where the yandere would be treated as "bad/problematic", or there's a million gender reversed examples where the yandere would be treated as "comedic value and/or desirable"?Go read a Shoujo or Josei, you'll find a million gender reversed examples of these
A male character with Sera'sIf the age and role are reversed everyone would call a bloody murder here
No one is going to read your essayI have read them. A lot of them tend to either end in tragedy or the ML gets better as a person whilst still retaining their possessiveness or the FMC being freed from the prison of abuse. But a lot of the times, when they're introduced, they're there to screw over the FMC's life for the sake of romance. Not even just the "I love you so you can't anyone else" but the kind where your life is on the line and where they would commit rape/ murder if they wanted or have to and not even in a comedic / cartoonish manner. You cannot deny that there's a certain fetishization of the theme, and the MLs tend to be borderline criminal. The majority of Korean yandere manhwas have MCs that are either hardcore criminal / mafia member or just plain psychotic. A major theme in shoujo / josei yanderes is that it always plays with the concept of life and death and it can either be profound or fetishistic. And let's not even get into the yandere hentai / erotica in shoujo / josei because that's basically rape fantasy / apologia and is absolutely repetitive in theme and plot.
The biggest difference between girl yanderes and boy yanderes is that most of the time, they're deadass instead of being treated as a comedic foil or exaggerated. Male yanderes tend to explore the boundaries of romance and themes of existentialism and be genuine in characterization to the point where you can make a parallel to it in IRL whilst female yanderes tend to be more trope-oriented and explores the concept of self-image and relationships.
I'm not saying that they're bad because there's good stuff on yanderes regardless of demographic, but you cannot deny that male yanderes lean towards being criminal / sex offender. Girl yanderes tend to lean towards insecurity issues whilst boy yanderes tend to lean towards dark romance.
Obviously, this is a hasty generalization based on trends and tropes but you should have gotten the gist of it since you have read them. Drown Into You is a realistic take on abusive relationships with a Yandere and that is not shoujo / josei and the girl mermaid is the yandere. But for every Drown into You, there's a bunch of girl yanderes that are comically / treated as a comedic bit even if the subject matter is dark or the plot gets serious. This manga for example is an example of girl yanderes with a more comedic tone despite its more realistic depiction because it's not as grave as male yanderes would be depicted as. Drown into You is basically a genderswapped version of a bunch of Male Yandere romances. I would even go in lengths to say that you have a bunch of shoujo / josei mangas / manhwas that entered your mind with the general plot examples that I provided in the first paragraph.
And no, I love shoujos / josei. I'm just not glossing over the problematic aspect of it that people would go in lengths to justify its ethics. My favorite shoujo mangas are:
1. Machida-Kun's World
2. Uruwashi No Yoi No Tsuki
3. Namida Ame to Serenade
4. Usotoki Rhetoric
5. How I Met My Soulmate
Anti-intellectualism strikes again. You do know that saying that makes you sound like a dumbass with no rebuttal, right? No one is going to read your essay
Always refreshing when people confess they can't keep up.No one is going to read your essay

You: Try reading them instead of repeating what everyone says.
Me: *explains my point to show that I consume a lot of Shoujo / josei
You: I ain't reading allat 🙏
Sure things mates, making an entire essay in response to a single comment makes me the dumb one and not you. If you can't put your words into a concise manner, you're the stupid one for failing to do so.Always refreshing when people confess they can't keep up.
Where is that from?Uh oh, they held hands

Yaaaaay!Damn those are some big red flags.
HELL YEAH THAT'S MY FAVOURITE COLOUR.
Actually some will. While I’m inclined to agree to most of it. ( including recommendations ) while Female Yandere are rarer in manga, light novels, etc or you get manga where the FMC might have Yandere flashes like Yabai Yatsu. No one is going to read your essay
He could honestly just admit that he's wrong and move on. But he really has to act all high and mighty even though he has no ground to stand on. Like "Dude, just take the L like a normal person!"there's being concise and then there's being flippant.
Don't go pretending you're always the former and never the latter.
