I think, give that world a few more decades and it could very well turn into a splendid dystopia. Introducing polygamy will set a legal framework but it cannot solve the issues in that society. Male arrogance for example. I would bet that, at some point, the women are fed up with being treated like consumable garbage by men who think they can get away with almost everything. Women might come to the conclusion that researching ways to reproduce without men might be better for society as a whole.
