I know I'm walking into a very obvious trap, but I have to add this correction for my own sake.

It isn't a pigeon, but a parakeet. A small parrot species that can be very articulate. This one is most likely a male that didn't bond with a female parakeet, thanks to its high aptitude of speech copying and friendliness towards humans.
