Would be super cool to read the comment section to gender bender works without the phobes bringing up the topic -- and then ironically yelling at us trans folk for "always bringing it up". I'll be glad to talk all about the trans experience -- when it's on topic to the main character's internal sense of identity in a given particular chapter. I wouldn't have for this one, this is just silly water park shenanigans and eating phallic ice cream.
But since the discussion happened anyway, I guess I'll drop in my two cents -- no, Jun is not experiencing the hardships of trans life one way or the other. There is no goddess in real life who'll instantly transform you and no bureaucracy in existence will put you in the perfect school literally overnight. It's escapist fantasy for people who want to mentally explore the idea of being a smoking hot gyaru. And to possibly goon like crazy while doing so because for some reason people missed the "Erotica" tag when they come here to complain about the fanservice. (which is like going to a comedy club and complaining why there's always some guy on a stage telling jokes)
Either way sit back, relax and enjoy this horny ride. And if you happen to hear a cracking noises while enjoying Jun's new life by proxy don't worry about it too much. That sound is just heralding your own potential future as a gyaru. (idk in VR or something if you're too old for that, it sounded more clever in my head)
