I wonder if this got cancelled more for the manga-ka losing interest or they just had another project that was a bigger moneymaker.

After all, this series had all the potential to get a big fan base, it had a funny concept, likable cast, great designs, and great dialog. It just needed more time to cook and grow its fan base.

I loved the pre-serialization and I would have loved for this to have had a long run as a serialized comedy genderbender, it had anime gold written all over it.

Guess it was just the wrong manga for the wrong time.

magcomi posted an official cancellation notice in 2021 and it appears that konkichi had been working on her other series at then time and at present her recent posts are all zettai bl content… one can hope though haha maybe we’ll see it come back one day

The last page, "When did our school become co-ed?".. None of them realized being schoolmates proves they're all guys? The one person at least recognized that point was odd, but merely reasoned it out that they just hadn't noticed, but next chapter that boy should be on the look out for girls in the school, because either there are a number of girls now he hadn't noticed, or the only few rare girls should be the other magical girls, and then they find no girls they would realize they are all men.

no... only red didn't realise that them being from the same academy meant they're all guys. the 4 bubbles in the last panel were the excuses that the other 4 came up with, in the pre-serialisation version the bubbles were colour coded and there's an extra panel saying "red is an idiot" https://mangadex.org/chapter/e9faf8c5-2e6a-4be2-aaf7-4aa9eca2554a/1

Mmm nice for completeness though it's mostly the same as the other version but without color. It's a shame too, this is a fun series. I like how green is the normal one but wears the lewdist outfit and how yellow seems to be having the most fun.
