hai.. souka.
That second one sounds pretty interesting (and strangely yuriful). I appreciate the response. Most get around the issue by having the villainess regain her memories at a young age, where the personality change can be chalked up to maturing, but here a couple that sorta touch on the issue:
- Villainess Speedrun - The villainess regains her memories a mere 24 hours before her destruction event, which leaves her original personality largely intact; her past life's personality shows through here and there, but they serve more as a reference point or minor quirks that serve to balance out her abrasive personality in this life.
- The One Within the Villainess - Unlike most, the villainess, Remilia, and the reincarnator, Emi, are two separate people, with the former being trapped in her own mind as a child by the other; the reincarnator does her best to give the villainess a good life and improve people's perception of her, but the heroine is also a reincarnator and one of those "this game world is mine" types and undoes all her work, leading Emi to have a mental breakdown that effectively kills her, allowing Remilia to come to the fore. Remilia, who spent the last decade watching Emi's efforts, is pissed and more or less takes on her game canon personality for the sole purpose of fucking over the heroine, all while maintaining a mask of the personality Emi cultivated.
The main thing that got me thinking was Elena going "oh right i'm a girl now" which makes me question how much of her guy memories are pushing in on her identity. Especially since it also seems to bleed into her sexual attraction. I know i'm probably reading into it too much and it's just some momentary disorientation.I think this one does it pretty well where she feels bad about being a dick before she regained her memories so she just ties to be a better person.
Edit: I love how the story just glosses over Alicia being a vampire like that is completely normal in their world.
It's currently in its endgame as Remilia used Emi's knowledge to both speedrun the game and discredit the heroine; the dominoes have already started to teeter, it's just a matter of time before Remilia knocks them down. That second one sounds pretty interesting (and strangely yuriful). I appreciate the response.
This isn't even to mention however her gender identity is working. Like is it the only part of the old identity that has been preserved? Do people just have a different functioning of gender identities in this setting? Though obviously this is even less likely to be discussedThe main thing that got me thinking was Elena going "oh right i'm a girl now" which makes me question how much of her guy memories are pushing in on her identity. Madame President a second yuri has hit the towershave we unlocked the 2nd yuri route?
I want you to know I read the second one and it was absolutely peak (and also weirdly enough extremely yuri). Most get around the issue by having the villainess regain her memories at a young age, where the personality change can be chalked up to maturing, but here a couple that sorta touch on the issue:
