so.... dragon girl was meant to be executed and was being transported towards the execution location presumably... but vampire girl interrupted it.... in order to then kill dragon girl still? and then it's revealed vampire girl also kinda belong to the same 'side' as the institution, just a different faction but have the same goals... so why interrupt the execution?

plot universe just wanted some sort of excuse to shoehorn the protag into both marrying the dragon girl and uncovering the vampire girl's identity at the same time?
