Plot is super similar to some other trashy manga I once read, only difference was that the mc was the typical beta that was allergic to female touch, incompetent, and weak. At least this mc seems to be doing better in those regards.

On another note, I've noticed that there's quite the trope here. Some sort of military target that drops infront of MC somehow, happens to be a cute girl. I imagine next chapter will be MC being caught between whoever the two groups involved are and suddenly getting a power-up from the dragon girl to fight them off. Maybe even forced into "the good group" that wants to free dragon gal for whatever reason, cause that's what usually happens. Pretty similar to Code Geass, I think. A classic boy meets girl.

Not bad for a chapter 1, but still too early to completely judge. Also nice that it gives enough breathing space so that we don't need 1 chapter to see if this is hit or miss because of how crammed it is

Does anyone else get annoyed at the whole “I just like helping people” type of mc’s? Because for me I’ve noticed that’s always what they say for becoming a waking doormats to everyone.

Depends, but I'm more leaning towards hate than like, mostly because I find the writing for these types of characrers to be handled very poorly. But I do love Shirou Emiya, and he's certainly the type to die giving a helping hand
