I've seen gunblades before, but a gunwand? Wow. And it's a sniper variant at that.
So Division Zero is full of batshit crazy mage hunters with all their screws loose, just like Shin said. I thought Charlotte was nuts, but one can't be the chief of a bonkers unit like this and stay sane. Shin is crazy alright for feeling completely at home with his old nutty comrades. Even Nina is insane, in the sense of being insanely angry wanting Shin dead on the spot, irrational extreme anger that even Charlotte can barely control. Girl blew a hole in the wall and immediately started a duel not caring the chief was there.
Alice is the only sane part of this chapter. Everything else is insane, including the now suddenly unfolding coup subplot.
