The story and characters may be trash as always, but I did like the long pause scene. The author is so bad at presentation in general that actually doing that scene competently stands out.

Thats pretty far out there, not impossible knowing Takeda, but a rather unlikely prediction imo. I hate to say this, but the NTR threat that loomed over Akito's head was the only thing to spike emotion, at least from me (im sure from others as well). While i disliked it, didnt want NTR to happen with Akito, and glad that it didnt. I do have to admit that it was one of the things that really spiked emotions while reading this series, the NTR that happens between Gotou and Agawa is still intriguing but doesnt hit the same since we already know she is a slut, its intriguing because we see the types of guys she does it with (it would be interesting to see her with that black american guy), and it was also interesting due to the fact that Agawa and Gotou would build up a lot of romance and rapport, only for it to be squandered by her doing some other guy. It was like we were seeing how long Gotou could keep her only to himself, and waiting with baited breath to see when she would go with another guy, or if their romance would bloom, with some added spicy scenes mixed in. Still didn't hit as hard with Akito having NTR loom over her, but the back and foward between Agawa and Gotou was and still is a good way to spike emotions without an Akito NTR imo. I personally think Takeda should steer it back towards that and find other ways to make the story compelling without derailing so randomly like he is now
It also wouldn't hit the same with Shige or Shina because we don't have all that much rapport built up with them; it wouldn't work for Shina because she is also a slut, maybe it could work if Takeda built a bit more rapport with her, like we see more of an innocnet, or kind side that makes us forget that she is still a schoolgirl that has sex with teachers. I'm hoping Takeda doesn't read this and get any ideas. I still don't want any NTR happening with Akito involved, but with how random this turn of events is, there is truly no telling. I believe there are other ways to make the story interesting, compelling, and spike emotions without (edit) an Akito NTR. Plus i thought we were done seeing Inukai, but he seems like he is just his old self. Hopefully, he got the message and leaves Akito alone.
I could only really see Akito being involved in one way: Gotou watches Inukai have sex with Shige, and Inukai catches him and does sort of a revenge thing. Gotou cures his ED through watching, and then Inukai goes after either Agawa or Akito since he now knows Gotou gets aroused by cucking, He either suggests he go after one of them and have Gotou watch, and Gotou doesn't give an answer, which prompts him to do so, or he just does it because at that point, he'd feel superior to Gotou once again. In this incredibly unwanted route, Gotou would find out Inukai had sex with either Akito or Agawa via photos or a video being sent to him, or he would catch it happening like he did in the very first chapter when he caught Agawa having sex in the classroom. hopefully this doesn't happen, I'm just letting my mind ramble, but this is pretty far out there, as is your prediction. In truth, I have no fing clue where this will lead due to how random Takeda can just turn the story.

As for Inukai I'm a bit wary about him tbh, initially I was looking forward to some sort of cuck war between him and Gotou but now I think it would kind of drag things out now. My hope is that Inukai fucks Shigechi and Gotou sees this and it somehow pushes him to try and get more serious about his relationships because its going to get tiring if they keep getting revenge on each other. This is largely because Inukai seems to be the same insane guy he was before, asking immediately to fuck when he sees Shigechi, I thought maybe he changed since Gotou said he got advice from Inukai but now Gotou is scared of Inukai thinking he will mock him so it seems that they aren't on good terms like I initially thought. If Inukai had changed/is changed then I would look forward to seeing this though since imo he was the funniest character to me.
While I think my idea is pretty out there, I feel it may not be too crazy considering all the other stuff Takeda has done so far. Regardless I may have just cooked straight garbage but this was just something that came to mind after reading your theory.
i think I agree that the NTR threat involving Akito was the most exciting thing that could have happened based on the ED stuff and the stuff Agawa said awhile ago about girls like Akito getting addicted. The idea of Gotou getting "cucked" by Inukai by watching him fuck Shigechi is the most interesting thing to me right now since it seems Shiina is surprisingly quite loyal and supportive with Gotou but even then Gotou has hardly a connection with Shigechi so it wouldn't hit as hard.
I agree, while I think Shigechi is the most attractive and I like her personality the most, ultimately I feel she adds nothing to the story in the long-run since Gotou is never going to get with her and even her role of Gotou getting Agawa jealous has already been filled in with Shiina anyways. If takeda is going that route then it would be better to just give Gotou a montage like Agawa of him just having sex with a bunch of girls with Agawa hearing about it or seeing it like she did with the threesome rather than wasting chapters on this type of stuff.
I think Akito NTR might be the only way to save this story at this point, the story was meant to be centred around Gotou and Agawa's relationship with Shiina and Akito acting as a rivals, with Akito even being a foil to Agawa due to being more innocent and loyal to Gotou rather than being promiscuous like Agawa along with her being the one with the strong feelings for him while its the opposite in Gotou and Agawa's relationship with Gotou feeling more strongly for Agawa. By having Akito look elsewhere for pleasure it could help give Gotou the push to decide who he wants to settle down with because he's been fooling around with her and Shiina saying he loves them all but also acknowledging the flaws/hypocrisy in that, I think that this can then push the story forwards as Gotou can only really stop guys from going for Akito but can't stop her from going for other guys due to never reciprocating her love.

I know that you're hoping against this idea and that it's just something you came up with spontaneously but it seems somewhat interesting. To add to it since I think Gotou will watch the two of them having sex, maybe Takeda will build upon the whole "we are the same" thing when Inukai got cucked and the two of them might argue about it at first and then decide to settle things by cucking each other at the same time, Inukai fucking Akito while Gotou fucks Shigechi. In the end, while the two might get hurt by it, Inukai will realise that he doesn't feel as bad as he did when it was Shiina, making him realise it is Shiina he wants after all - meanwhile Gotou might see Akito enjoying it and while he is very hurt by watching this it might make him realise that he doesn't truly care for Akito in a romantic sense which will lead him to go for Agawa.

If I'm reading it right next chapter, Akito knows Shigechi and her friends? Also, it's kinda funny to see Inukai being all chummy with Gotou even though he said they're not friends. Truly water under the bridge, especially all the discussions about him getting his revenge, hehe.

Time for chapter 79’s summary
Gotou digests what he’s just seen with Inukai and Shigechi; writing off the interaction as Inukai being Inukai. He further mulls over whether or not he should ask for either Inukai or Shiina’s help in convincing Shigechi into sleeping with him; but writes off the idea as ridiculous.
Even as Gotou is thinking fairly ill of Inukai, Inukai himself is paling around with Gotou in a manner that makes people think they’re friends. Leading to a hilarious reversal of last chapter’s interaction.
Shigechi catches Gotou and Inukai hanging out together and asks the latter if they’re friends. Inukai denies this in a very tsundere manner.
Needless to say that Agawa’s appraisal combined with Shiina and Inukai’s unconvincing denials of the closeness of their relationship with Gotou, is making Gotou live rent free in her head; annoyingly enough.
Anyway Sakura and Yui (the girls who were Akito’s friends and red herring bullies) invite Shigechi out. When Shigechi enquires as to what happened to that other girl they were hanging out with (Akito), they say that Sakura hates her now because Akito apparently stole Inukai from her (this is fallout from Inukai pressuring Akito into dating him in the previous arc), and they warn Shigechi that if she isn’t careful, Akito will steal the guy she likes too (said guy likely being Inukai too, or perhaps…).
Shigechi snaps upon her and the other two running into Gotou and Akito, leading to an extremely awkward meeting that ends the chapter.
The humour is that while Gotou is wracking his brain about getting with Shigechi, Shigechi herself is increasingly unable to stop thinking about and intersecting with him.

It’s been increasingly obvious to me and with this chapter a confirmation that the evidence of Gotou’s almost accidental rise in social status is priming Shigechi for the moment where Gotou snaps and outright says that she’s the only girl he currently finds sexually attractive. When she gives him a shot and loves it, this will cure his ED, because it’s proof that everything Agawa asserted before was wrong; since a girl who has no reason to humour or excuse a poor bedroom performance (unlike Akito and Shiina) liked his stuff.

😨 I don't like that Akito is now back involved, and the idea of her stealing Inukai away from other girls is now floating around. That's literally all I have to say on it right now. Idk about anyone else. But I'm personally hoping that isnt the case and Akito DOES NOT do anything with Inukai (or any other for that matter). I can kind of see where Takeda is heading with this, KIND OF, He is still so random that i can't quite put my finger on it. It feels like Akito is about to get wrapped up in some looming drama, which could spell NTR for her if Inukai goes after her. Or if Gotou simply doesn't get his act together, I foresee her seeking pleasure elsewhere. This is getting messy, and im not sure I want to see the aftermath😭😂

I think the point of Akito being introduced to Shigechi as a man stealer is setting up a later rivalry for Gotou’s affections. See, if it pans out that Shigechi cures Gotou’s ED via affirmation of Gotou’s sexual abilities, the catch will be that Shigechi will expect or even demand exclusivity from Gotou; especially if his apparent oneitis for her is why Shigechi allowed him to bag her in the first place as opposed to Inukai. Naturally, this would complicate Gotou’s desire to continue his polyamory with Akito and Shiina.

Based on what was posted above, I seem to have been way off lol. Regardless, I think this is probably the most likely outcome now since it will give Shigechi a greater purpose and tie her back to thr story. Even if Agawa is marginally affected by this, Akito and Shiina are definitely going to feel more strongly on Gotou getting monopolised (perhaps this is why Takeda made Shiina very supportive to Gotou along with her pausing before calling him a friend).
I think that there could be an outcome that Agawa will get affected by it more then we assume. If Takeda wants to develop her character and feelings for Gotou this is an opening for it. With having her gyaru friends back from the day were one of them planned to deepen their relationship more, we could get that. In the end she knows quite well how Shigechi badmouthed and rejected him in the past.
But who knows what will happen. In my opinion on the culture festival something big will happen. Can’t decide if it will bring Gotou and Agawa together again or drive a bigger wedge.
