Interesting. The fact that closing her eyes did nothing at all raises questions about whether she was actually causing the invisible leeches, or actually the only one who could've warned them about it.

always had a 'floater' in my left eye. or astigmatism? one time an eye doctor casually mentioned it when i like was literally never told about it before but not like you can really do anything i hear there might be surgeries but unless it obstructs your vision not worth it versus like lasik

poor friend. tho i can imagine a sociopathic ver where someone did that on purpose, that'd def be hard to stop, unless it somehow works if they looked in the mirror
or actually the only one who could've warned them about it.

I mean unless they were conveniently near some buddhist/shinto shrine, not much you can do if you're warned 'hey these weird little parasite monsters only i can see are floating around you' , at best you'd be dismissed if not believed and at worst you'd be blamed

More seeing. It definitely seems to be a pretty consistent & intentional theme at this point, which just makes Ch3 even stranger for breaking the pattern.

Anyways, this one's pretty interesting, I think, because it seems to almost extend the idea of "seeing" shown previously into something more... supernatural, I guess? Like, closing her eyes didn't stop the floaters, which seems to imply that the act of "seeing" shown here is something more than just literally looking at something.

Also, I think it's interesting how these floaters seem to congregate around the eyes and mouths of their victims. And with all the holes in Kisa's body shown on the last page, it seems pretty clear that the they're trying to get inside her. But the question is why? And why is Saya able to "control" them in the first place?

Or maybe it was based on the direction her eyes were looking towards. If she had turned her head or looked straight at the ground, perhaps that could've worked, but it's hard to know with the limited information right now.

If this continued for another chapter or two, we would get some answers, but that's not the format of this manga, it's not intending to actually provide answers. Just situations.

Creepy!! This one had a cool concept that reminded me of stuff like Scanners a bit.

There have been a lot of tropey ones, but this one is more interesting.
