Gregorio teaching isn't simply bad, is not teaching in the first place, he is likely bringing the possible exorcists in places full of demons that can be easily kileld by veterans with faith and thinking a newbie can do the same, t could be how he did learn, but is not for everyone.
Normal exorcists are like trained soldiers when G most likely grew in a place where he had to fight, hence how he have a broken logic and absolute faith in their god and his own instict.
