The lack of abnomrality is a abnormality.
The demon lord should know about the hero now, and the vampire that escaped should have reported about it, albeit the information is wrong thanks to MC meddling.
But if the DL can feel the rough direction/location of the hero it means it can send enemies, if is fairly intelligent, it can even predict how the humans would level said hero...that makes me think, why can't they just force grind her like it was probably done with Stephie?
A traditional hero journey is a luxury they can't afford.

Chapter 13, after page 50, he did blow up but that was his move, he was sure he would have another shot at attacking the MC and he had a powerful regeneration and demon god blessing, is very likely he could return even from a kamikaze attack.
Re-read the chapter and the dude was like the hero party, didn't act in a logical way and and always strayed from every prediction MC did, I believe he didn't die for real, at most lost most of his power and is slowly recovering.
Could have hid the story MC made up to get his revenge alone or did pass it to the demon lord, after all why making the whole thing about MC getting the attention as the summoned hero if the onyl witness on the demon side kicks the bucket 20 pages later?
